INTRODUCTION

Majority of the popular events in history that occurred in the 1960’s to the 1970’s were results of the deeds of those who reacted to the events than those who were involved in them. There were many occurrences between these time periods with big time names like, John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, and The Rolling Stone. Big time events as in the, Vietnam War, Watergate Scandal, Hippies, Civil Rights, Abortion, and Black Panthers played a huge role in this time period. Art, music, computers, radios, and TVs were invented and became very popular throughout the world. This era is a big turning point and changes lives of many people. The chaotic events of the 60’s, including war and social change, seemed destined to continue in the 70’s. Major trends included a growing influence of the women’s movement, advances in the civil rights, concern for the environment and space exploration like NASA. People started to grow in wealth, the world was becoming more advanced and life seemed as if it couldn’t get better.
